NAGC
The National Association for Gifted Children's magazine, Parenting
for High Potential, has published its annual list of recommended games
and toys. You may click on the
article written by Karen Yannacio, or
here for
purchasing information.

American Mensa
American Mensa has put together 20 pages of
Mind Games. The list includes the appropriate ages for each game, a
description, the price and a web address.

Games Magazine
Games Magazine is
"the magazine for creative minds at play." It features a wide variety of
verbal and visual puzzles, brainteasers, trivia quizzes, contests, and
many other features, as well as reviews of new board games and
electronic games.

Hoagies' Page
Hoagie's Gifted Education Page has a shopping guide of
Gifts for the
Gifted. The list includes smart toys, software, books, magazines,
music, movies, educational products, and even nerd shirts.

MindWare
We discovered the MindWare
catalog when it came in the mail. It features a wide range of "brainy
toys for kids of all ages." It includes brick construction sets and
fashion design kits, as well as puzzles, books, and early learning
items. It even has a clearance center. There's even a
MindWare U.K.
for our U.K. friends!

Amazeing
Amazeing Art is all about
"extraordinary mazes for extraordinary minds." It offers free printable
mazes, maze information (terminology, history, tips, etc.), and maze
gifts to buy.

About Gifted Kids
About, Inc., a part of
the New York Times Company, has put out a list of the top ten games for
gifted kids. You will also find many other links to related sites.
