Special Opportunity -- Casting Call for 1 vs. 100
We got this time sensitive information about a television show that will
feature bright children, and wanted to get it to you immediately!
Casting Call for 1 vs. 100
Is your child between the ages of 9 and 17 and interested in appearing on a
national television game show? We just heard from Hilary M. of American Mensa
that NBC's show 1 vs. 100 is looking for bright children to appear on an
upcoming episode. This show is hosted by Bob Saget (of America's Funniest Home
Videos and Full House fame), and it pits one person in a trivia game against a
"mob" of 100. The prize can be as high as $1 million. Here is how the game is
described on its website: To stay in the game, the player must answer trivia
questions and get every one right -- wrong answers from the mob eliminates them
from the game, driving up the cash prize for the player. If the player can
eliminate all 100 members of the mob, which will also be stacked with surprise
opponents, such as geniuses, valedictorians, grandmothers and other game show
champs, he will go home with the $1 million top prize. However, if the player
gets one answer wrong, the game is over and "the mob" will split the player's
winnings up to that point and a new contestant gets to take on "the mob."
"The show already filmed the episode featuring six Young Mensans, and it's
set to air on January 5," said Hilary M. "The producers thought the kids were so
adorable and smart that they decided to have an all genius kid mob." The filming
date is not yet set for this episode, but it will probably happen sometime in
January. Auditions for the mob will consist of an application and picture.
Please note that if you are chosen to appear on this episode, you will have to
pay for all your own expenses involved in getting to the studio in Los Angeles.
